Robert and Shelley are missionaries helping establish a children’s home in the South of Mexico. They saw the additional need for a home for adolescents to enable older children make the transition to adult life. They found an ideal property for $90 thousand which Just Equity divided into 100 tokens ($900 for each 1% ownership stake).
The tokenisation of the property made it possible for Robert and Shelley to begin this important ministry, and for their supporters to maintain a continued partnership with them as they remain owners of the property.

Just Equity is a way for Christians to partner with others to purchase a property, then lend it to a ministry. We use realestate tokenisation to represent ownership of the property. Partners can buy and sell their tokens on the marketplace, but what is more useful is that each partner retains an important role in the ministries use of the property.

Meet the team
Robert and Shelley Chapman are Christian missionaries who moved from Australia to Mexico City after graduating from university over 30 years ago. Because they had only limited resources, a friend suggested they partner with people in Australia to purchase a house in a strategic location to be used for their student work in Mexico City. That one-off purchase became the catalyst for a vibrant student ministry. They repeated that model when they purchased a property to support a student worker in another city, which became a catalyst for a thriving church. Currently they are establishing a new ministry in the south of Mexico which helps adolescent victims of abuse and persecution to transition into adulthood.
They can testify that this model of enabling a local ministry to prosper by lending a property works. They have done it themselves and they have helped others to do it.
Their hope is to cultivate these types of partnerships between those who have the means to invest and those who have the ability to prosper ministry.
